Excellent. This post was a good step and just what I needed. Helped to explain things that others might think are obvious (except switches, you didn't really explain them, I'm still confused ;D ;D ;D). What I need now is a detailed guide to all things circuitry. Volts, watts, amperes, ohms, coulombs, joules.... it's just TOO much for me, and math never was my forte.
Here's what I get so far about electricity:
1. Metal conducts it.
2. LED needs it.
3. Don't stick your tongue in the toaster.
