Another excellent feature sure to help us all navigate the market.  It will surprise few that I'm pleased to see the addition of the "Detailing and Parts" section, which is something I'm quite fond of. ;)

This is good.  Does this mean all the parties on the list are going to be a happy family now?  I hope so.

I would recomment adding a link to the differents sites.

A trade association like this has been a long time coming.  Now we need a logo to proudly display on our sites.  I'd also like to know which of the listed companies are "in".  Ultra Sabers is in, 100%.

+1! this is a very important point to me!

And may I suggest to add in the luxeon's part :

Very good initiative BTW.

Hello everyone;

Thanks for your support on this Alliance  8)

Ultra:
Of course you and I are on the same page ;) and once I get confirmation from everyone
I'll add it to the Post so everyone can see :)

Louis:
Once we get a Plecter Labs Saber to test we will go from there...
I do hear His stuff is cool but we need to see and inspect it in person.

I do believe Kit Fisto has one coming and I may be able to confer with Him
and try to set up a time perhaps to see it etc...

I'll keep everyone updated as this moves along  8)

Confirmations have been coming in and I've also been conversing with those
who simply want to know a little more :)

So far everyone who has confirmed agrees this is a good Idea and are glad to be
a part of it 8)

Many agree it will be a valuable resource for those wanting to find the best parts,
suppliers and conversions specialists for their saber needs.

I think Kit is very happy with his plector.

This forum is my second forum ive been on.  I have been a Mod at Force-fx for a while now, and i just started visiting FX-sabers more in the recent days.  I love both forums and will be an active member here as well!

I think it'd be useful to add hyperlinks to each vendor's websites if applicable

Could someone send me the info regarding consideration and verification within the guild?  I am interested.  I have always touted a sense of cooperation with builders and suppliers rather than competition, and think the guild serves an important function.

Thank you for that Judge 8)

The Guild is comprised of those who we consider "co-operative" and work together.
I've talked to everyone and made sure we are on the same page ;)

Actually Both (Judge Saber Smith) and (Do-Clo) will soon be coming up for review
to add to the List as Converters :)

There is strength in numbers as they say 8)

Just a thought for Guild Members...

Whenever Kit and Quinlan can get a chance to do it up, perhaps having custom sigs that make mention of their guild status?

Kind of like our Mod and Admin tags... That would be a sig to be proud of!

A nice sig with "S.A.B.E.R. Guild Member" or something along those lines, or even "Master Sabersmith" 8)

I think that's a good idea.  I'd certainly like a tag like that.  Would it be okay if I advertised my membership on my website as well?  Not that it would mean much to people who visit my site and are not familiar with these forums, but it's still something I am very proud to have achieved and would like to make it known.

Very nice! Your site looks great!

When you start taking orders again, I may just have to make use of your services! It's my plan to purchase at least 1 custom from each guild smith. :)

And at some point, complete the build my own personal saber from parts aquired from each. i.e.: The Guildsaber! ;)

Once again, the site looks great! Congrats my friend! You have earned it. 8)

That's funny...I'm doing the same thing - collecting sabers from each guild member.  Do-Clo is building me a couple right now, and I'm in talks with Madcow about getting a saber built.  It will take me years to collect them all, but it will be worth it.

I have an idea what could be pretty cool. You know, there would be sold different aluminum cylinders, like curved ones and others, depending what kind of saber do you want. then there would be different emitters etc parts for making own personalised saber. What do you think?

This will be useful when I branch out beyond my first custom saber. While it would be cool to have the first one be very "showy" I have to figure things out first. Great resource.

One major request: please provide links!

This is nice!

Havent seen this topic yet...

I am a constant buyer of TCSS stuff, since me and a friend of mine are (until now) the only saber builders in Brazil.

I think thats the best way to buy basic material for saber building, since the postal costs would be concentrated in only one purchase.

Hey!  First post here, and I would like to meantion you do not have a link for UltraSabers on your main post.  I thought you might want to add it since, from what I've read places, they seem to be very durable.  I'd like to hear your thoughts on them.

I would also like to thank everyone posting, because the info on this forum has been very educational for me.  ;D

edited for link.  GG

Hi, and Welcome.

Yes we know of UltraSabers. For reasons I am not at liberty to discuss we do not provide a link to them from here, at this time. Search around, we have MANY saber smiths and independent builders that are here, all of them amazing at what they do.

Enjoy.
