I'll get back to you on the measurements this weekend but you're close. Good eye! After thorough testing, I'm moving the clash sensor up closer to the emitter and redoing one of the wires for more secure SD card access before it goes up for sale. Hopefully I'll get around to it this weekend.

Very nice saber. I'd be proud to carry one like that on my own belt.

As for the covertec near the emitter, I always like the look of it, but I have trouble straying from the idea of "if this were real"....

Seems to me, having the activation button bumped by accident and having the blade pointed towards the ground would be much preferable to having it pointed towards all of your vital organs or even your face.  LOL.

But as for esthetics, definitely a nice job.

Nice work Arc Angel! I think it came out fine.

May the force be with you all!

Thanks guys. The covertec and choke both get a mix of feedback and I thought about the way it hangs too, but if I were a Jedi I think I'd have the force to not set it off off by accident otherwise I would HIGHLY recommend a blade plug.

Cortosis blade plug so it shorts out every time it turns on by accident?  Nice.  Now, if only I can find some fictional cortosis ore to go with my fictional lightsaber blade, I'll be a safe as can be!   :P

hehe..my point was Jedi don't need blade plugs but we do if we don't wanna risk eye damage.

Very true. But then again, if I were truly a Jedi then I would not be burdened by the jealousy I have for such a beautiful form as that saber design.  It really looks great and I bet it has great feel in the hands and is probably a nice design for spinning.

After some testing I found the 2 cells in the gear section were a bit crammed and caused some shorting out as well as runtime issues. I've since machined a new delrin holder for a single cell which is centered in the same section of the hilt. It's still appears as bright and runs for roughly 45 minutes.

Once I'm satisfied with current documentation it will be up for sale in the trade federation section hopefully this weekend. Probably through ebay.

That is one nice saber!! Your posts are worth the wait! I like how it’s a non traditional build, as the choke is in the back and the belt clip is in the front. That weathering is tight too!! Great Job as expected!!

Just added a new video to the first post demonstrating 360 sound venting. Nice and loud the whole way around. Also my new stand made by Halon Customs.
