I finally got around to buying my first couple of fonts from your website and for the most part the core functionality seems okay but I can't help thinking it's still a far cry from where it should be by now.. I don't know who does the web development but I'd be more than happy to give them a few pointers where it should be improved for a better user experience.
If I can piggy back a couple of wishes to this list:
- tagging would be a nice addition. light, dark, captured, original, concept, vocal, non-Star Wars, etc.
- Filter by Plecter, NEC style.
Right now keyword search is marginally useful, and dependent on the font author to have included a meaningful description to that end. Sometimes it's easier to simply tag a few words than write creative or useful prose.
I think there is an opportunity to capture lost revenue from users who simply become frustrated with the functionality of the site. Maybe it's not going to earn someone a new house, but a few extra sales a month could be worth someone's effort.
