you don't change it, the board makes changes to it during operation to tell it where to begin the next time it is activated.

grab the one from the original package for your board version and overwrite it. Then copy the whole card on the HD, format, and recopy the whole thing from the HD to the SD without drag and drop, just copy / paste.
You can edit in place the contents of that file but your multiple overwritting has probably modified the file structure on the SD, hence reformat and re install it all. That should solve your problem.

once jumping on the font menu, and select / boot a new one, the selected one will be written in that file, at the condition that it's structure isn't damaged.

Old thread, my sincere apologies if this is the wrong place to post.  I have #21 of the CFV OM OWK TPM run sabers.  I read the CFV manual multiple times and for the life of me cannot remember which setting turns the bike valve led on/off, currently it is on and I wish to turn it off please.  If anyone who has one of these sabers can remember please advise, thanks in advance.

I think the standard was that they were tied to LED pad 1.  You want to open the the leds.txt in the individual bank folder.  If you want the led to be off all the time, just change the ones to zeros.  There a leds.txt in every bank, so you'll have to copy the txt file in all banks.

Thanks for the help eastern57 I really appreciate it.  Sorry I am a bit retarded when to comes to this tech stuff, just to clarify please, below is an example of one of the led config text files.  Do I change all of the 1's to o's or by chance do you happen to know which section/line relates to LED pad 1?

The last digit in a 7-digit string is LED1. e.g. 0000001 should be 0000000
