7/8"-to-1" metal Blade Adapters - IN STOCK
« on: February 21, 2018, 03:11:14 PM »
Aluminum 1"-to-7/8" blade adapters!
NOW IN STOCK!
LIMITED QUANTITY!

Use 7/8" blades in ANY 1" blade holder/socket sabers with ease!

Available in two length for now in plain aluminum and Anodized Black Gloss or Blasted (Brass to come later!):

32mm (1.26 inches long) Plain Aluminum - 0 (works perfectly in sabers with short blade holders like Thin-Necks, Graflex, MPP, KAM and other...)
32mm (1.26 inches long) Black Anodized Blasted (Matte) - 3 (works perfectly in sabers with short blade holders like Thin-Necks, Graflex, MPP, KAM and other...)
32mm (1.26 inches long) Black Anodized Gloss - 3 (works perfectly in sabers with short blade holders like Thin-Necks, Graflex, MPP, KAM and other...)
32mm (1.26 inches long) Plain Brass - Comes later...
45mm (1.77 inches long) Plain Aluminum - 0
45mm (1.77 inches long) Black Anodized Blasted (Matte) - 5
45mm (1.77 inches long) Black Anodized Gloss - 6
45mm (1.77 inches long) Plain Brass - Comes later...

Adapters can be completely hidden inside the 1" blade socket or add an extra length for the durability or a different emitter look. Designed to sit nice and snug over 7/8" blades and fit inside tight fit 1" blade sockets like VV does, so there is no wobbling effect during clashes.
4 openings (windows) are made for set screws to let a set screw fasten 7/8" blade directly without touching the aluminum adapter and for some "shine through" effect with lit blade.

!!!ALWAYS USE SET SCREWS THROUGH ADAPTER OPENINGS (WINDOWS), NEVER TIGHTEN A SET SCREW TO THE ALUMINUM ADAPTER BODY!!!

!!!SOME SCRATCHES UNAVOIDABLE!!! Because adapters are made to fit snug inside 1" blade holders and I test them before selling. Keep in mind there will be even more scratches during use, but they can be fixed with Scotch-Brite abrasive.

Price is $11 for each in Plain Aluminum, $15 for Anodized Black (PP fees covered) + shipping ($10 worldwide, tracked, delivery in roughly 2-3 weeks).

Dmitry,

I'd be interested in 2 45 mm and 2 32 mm.  All plain aluminum.

Are they available without slots as well?

Tom

Do we have to sand down the blades to be able to fit these blade adapters into the blade as well as the blade holder?
