I'm not sure yet. I have one DIY chassis coming in the first round release. It's going in my vintage ESB.

I may try making my own with what I learn completing the first round DIY

Brassflex 2 ANH will be a shiny version. I'm collecting parts now, so possibly sometime before the new year it will be done.
Interesting....I'm attempting to an ESB,  or ROTS in Brass myself!

I have a shiny brass Graflex ANH...or 'Golden Graflex' as I call it...from King-of-Parts...it's a terrific elegant look how the shiny brass body contrasts with the silver clamp and accents and imo the most beautiful saber I own...I'm absolutely certain you will like it when you build yours Jango.

Someday I'd like to get a DIY crystal chassis too and [if I'm ever lucky enough] CF for it...its another saber that deserves 'theme music' lol.

Instead of going for a DIY chassis and the CF separately, why not contact Yoda for a completed chassis and CF ready to "slide in"

It may cost more, but you would be sure to get one.

Master Yoda's work is amazingly magnificent but I'm poor and its just out of my league to put up that much money all at one time...I can only afford to build sabers part-by-part...but if I ever win the lottery...

I see there is a shiny Brassflex 2 in the works. I actually got a shiny brass one from King of Parts right after you first posted this one.

I was thinking that painting all the accessories (clamp, ears, button, etc.) black and putting a red LED in would look pretty nice I just haven't had time to really work on it. I'll be keeping an eye out for Brassflex 2.

The cyan LED is a perfect match for this saber. Along with the brass color and weathering, it makes the saber look old. ;)
Very Very nice! :)

All of those parts are plated and spray paint may not work very well in the long run.
I am having a hard time picking a color for brassflex 2
I am leaning towards green or maybe going all out with a 10W Amber.

That's what I was going for. I polish it nice and shiny once a month with some brasso just to keep it clean.

I know. If I want to make them black I need to take the plating off and I really don't want to. Not to mention it might be nearly impossible on something like the red button with the grooved edges and all. It will most likely stay probably stay brass and silver.

instead of red, why not purple?  The hilt has the same coloring as a Mace.

Oh excellent idea! The purple should look very nice. Now I just need to research purple blades since I have yet to receive my custom tri-rebel.

I would recommend a Seoul P5 wired in series.

Thank you! I had read your thread before and was about to search for it since I could not remember the LED you used.

It also reminded me that I have a Mara Jade hilt on the way that will need one.    ;D
