The cheapest they sell LEs for (at the moment anyway) is $270.  So it would be $70 more unless I'm missing something.

In anycase, I'd be surprised if the street price ended up being $199.

I bought a Anakin ROTS LE on ebay for $247.

A resin cast saber for over $300? ::) ...well I guess If I ever get my hands on one I'll drill
a hole through it and insert the Luke ROTJ electronics, then it would be worth that kind of money ;D

I almost wonder if the High price is explicitly for keeping them more exclusive :-\

The LE isn't resin, it's machined.  The CE is Resin.

My comments on this...

I don't quite like the new stand, looks kinda cheap. I always thought we'd get a variation of the LE-stands. Like to display a lightsaber sideways instead of upright. But hey, different people has different opinions on it.

I don't really mind the quality of the materials as long as it looks like the actual thing. But can someone tell me what the difference is between "resin and metal" compared to the "anodized" version.

(I still think CE's should be around $100 cheaper than LE's).

The CEs are $100 cheaper than the LEs.....

As for what the difference is, one is cast resin, and one is machined aluminum, which is then anodized (colored black)

One is resin, one is metal.

You're right Sycor... It actually Listed Both the CE and LE but only gave the price of the LE :-\
