Yes and they had a pretty small edition size too- 1250 I think.  This would be a good time to scoop one up.

The number is on the plaque and not the saber if thats what you're referring to.  The first elite(Luke ROTJ) had the number on the saber itself.

It really is JMK, I was just remarking today about the amazing finish of it as compared to the Larbel (as seen in the comparison shots as well).

I understand the sentiment all too well DM but you can't really get too hung up on prices.  If I ever get too worried about appreciation (or depreciation) I have a surefire cure.  I go to toytracker.net, log in and view my collection.  Anyone who uses that feature can tell you the first thing they show you is your List, Market and +/- margin.  A humbling experience that cannot help but remind us all that we're in this for the fun of it. :o ;)

I don't know but the LE goes for about $600 if that tells you anything.  I think the EE goes for about $1000 now.

I just happened to find myself a Luke EE at about 3 am on sunday.  I'm sending my funds to bank account right now and then to paypal.  I was lucky to get mine cheaper than the average  ;D

I wanted to keep it secret till I got the saber but I couldn't resist lol.  I was thinking about picking up an obi EE on ebay yesterday.  It was like number 60+ and it only sold for 350.  That is a serious deal but I have just spent about $1200 this month alone.  I'm gonna have to slow it down probably for the rest of the year lol.
