These 16mm RGB Pixel Switches mirror color order of the 5050 and 3535 pixel strips, and features data in and out. The LED will not suffer from the "blue flash" that occurs with 5mm pixel LEDS. You can run these in parallel with the blade to mirror blade activity, or if you use FX-SaberOS you can take advantage of the pixel accent feature for status indicator and menus.
I've minimized the size of the PCB as much as possible to allow the nut to still be used and limit the extension into the body. The Pixel Switch PCB slides between the RGB and + pins on the switch and can be soldered directly to the back of the switch, or the PCB can be wired remotely if space is a concern. Pin spacing on the board is breadboard friendly and can be used with header pins. The RGB+ pads can also be soldered to header pins.

This pre-order will help ensure I order the proper switches to cover what everyone wants. I have already produced a small batch of these and have confirmed they work precisely as expected. Most of the components are already in hand. I do not foresee any reason the timeline should slip beyond the end of August.
