I love this design, Rob! Since you did some recent research on Norse/Viking runes and such, do you know the term "ULFBERHT"? This was a Viking sword that today's sword experts say was the state of the art sword for it's time. Made around 1000 yrs ago, compared to more common blades, they were  stronger, lighter weight, more flexible and quite beautiful. I think the name fits what you created here!

That looks amazing and very impressive how robust the chassis looks. Always been slightly wary of crystal chambers and risking them breaking in a duel. That looks really solid though.

Will the aluminum that become the new standard for all your GCS elites over the PVC ones or just the larger two handed ones you make?

Wow. Love the lines, styling, simplicity and elegance. Nothing I don't love about this saber! Another great job!

Probably not, as it takes much longer to machine a one-off metal chassis, I will still use the PVC style for GCS elite sabers. I will use the machined metal style on super high end sabers over $2500 from time to time.
