I was wondering,...
Is it possible to glue a part of a 3/4" blade tube, let say 4" long (maybe the to glued part even sanded a bit smaller), in the bottom of a 1" thin walled/showblade, so you have;
A 1" blade with a 2" smaller end that sticks out, to put in this sabers?
So the look of the blade is 1"?

Just an idea, maybe stupid. ;D ;D ;D
Also not sure what will happen to the light.

My guess is the light will be dramatically effected. You're basically putting an obstacle between the LED and the inner surface of the 1" blade. And if the idea is to make the saber more duelable, I'm afraid that would make it less duelable, since you would be adding a weak point to the blade in precisely the spot where you need it to be strongest.

3/4" polycarbonate is plenty duelable. I'm puzzled by the determination to use 1" blades. Is it a "size-matters" guy thing? ;) Don't forget what Yoda said about size.  ;D

No guy's, it was just cosmatic, not for the blades beying stronger for dualling, maybe light dualling or just swinging around and tapping stuff with it to make the clashes go, which I mostly do.
I don't have 3/4"blades except for the MR Yoda.
If that is the same, I think those 3/4" blades are not so nice looking compared to my other 1" blade sabers I have.
Specially not in the same length. 34"

Korbanth, for the next run,... is it possible to make the Count Dooku on the righht scale fitting the 3/4" blade?
That would be a piece of jewelery too.

I doubt he would since I don't think Parks has made a Dooku hilt as of yet. I could be wrong.

Dooku is my ultimate pursued saber, that no one has seen to make with the exception of MR static and now the Hasbro, oversized die cast metal version...but your right, the maker has not really been able to do this model, so for now..I stick with the ones I know that can be done.

Parks has never made a Dooku, or even a curved saber to my knowledge.

You are RIGHT...it seems to be a challenge, that has a cost that outweighs the benefits of trying to do...at first discussion, they could end up being $400 each...that is not easy to swallow, so we never pursued it...

I'd rather try to make Hollow Sidious sabers if they'd be easier.

If it's not to much to ask for and you'll find time for that, can you please post some extra photo's from the DV6 if you still have some of them?
3 prcisely:
1 from the front looking into the emiter.
1 from the front of the bottom.
1 from the fron of the controlbox.

I was wondering about that OWK1.
The problem is that it's to small for a UB board, but there will be fitting a Yoda board in it and one of those smaller speakers and a green P4.
So that means it is always much better than a standart Hasbro Obi TPM, am I right?

Hmm,... maybe I have to order some extra sabers afterall.

ok...I will post some soon...and I think the OWK1 has the same size Diameter tube inside of it, that all of them, so if one can be upgraded, the OWK1 can be, but you'd have to ask one of the people here that do the conversions for facts..I dont know...
