Roman Props Graflex with NB v4
« on: September 02, 2020, 06:21:00 AM »
Converted Roman Props Graflex.

Running a Tri Cree (B/B/W) with FoC, Nano Biscotte v4, and 20mm bass speaker.

I didn't want to drill any sound holes in the hilt so it's not super loud, but kept the aesthetics to be in line with movie accuracy as close as possible.

Nice job!  Did you drill out the screw behind the glass eye or find one set up for shine through?  Next upgrade is a CFX for smoothswing (among other things.)

The glass eye from Roman hilt is see through. I just removed the spring that connected inside to the original internals. Then glued the glass piece in to the frame. The LED sits in a chassis lower down so when illuminated you get that shine through. :)
