NBv4 neopixel wiring question
« on: September 06, 2020, 11:35:17 AM »
I have wired as shown in my circuit diagram. When the light's aren't connected everything else works however when the lights are connected the speaker just makes a clicking noise and none of the lights activate. Any ideas of what could be wrong and/or how to rectify this would be greatly appreciated! It's my first build and working from scratch using manuals and videos so I'm at a total loss on where to turn.

I suggest you test the different voltages when the strip are connected. In practice, I just suspect your battery is weak or discharged, or that you have a power loss in your wiring. The ticking sound seems to indicate power fails just after enabling the strips (via StripPower and the onboard drivers) and your battery PCB trips.
Your diagram looks fine to me.
