yep, playing with the audio files volume is something you can do, if it's really needed.

Rhyen : it's indeed planed. One of my customer asked but I didn't have time to design something so he got some schematics on his own. His design is great but uses too many I/O (still, he's not a EE and did a tremendous job on his DC 17). My plan is to make a peripheral unit that will be controlled just like the screen is, with messages (empty, reload to count xxx, decrease of XXX ammo etc). It will maintain the perfect synchro between sound and display. I even think it will be possible to have the screen AND the counter.

added to the TODO list  :)

Thanks Erv.  I was just wondering since it could interface with the screen there may be a fairly easy way to have it drive the 3 number 7 segment LED display.  I should have known you were already working on it.  LOL

So I RTFM and I have a question that did not seem clear to me: Does the clip in/clip out switch trigger the reload or is reload only triggered by the aux button or power-cycling the card?

clip out empties the ammo count and unjams as well, clip in reloads the weapon.

Excellent, this is what I was hoping. :D Thanks. I picked up a full-auto Nerf Stampede rifle on discount and i intend to hack a Blastercore and some LEDs into it.
Once you drop the next batch that is. :D

Ugh, I hate to be that guy that posts back-to-back but have there been any BC made during your last run? I haven't seen any available, with screen or without, and I'm still really hoping to score one for my blaster rifle project.

*facepalm* I knew this! I even posted in that thread.
The Derp side is strong with this one.
Perhaps it's time to lock this one up and sticky the v4 thread?
