Looking great Chewie; I'm definitely envious of the future owner. :)

I finished up the saber the other day.  Shipping it off to the new owner tomorrow but I took a quick video and some pics (sorry not great quality) before packing it up.  I really like how it turned out and may have to visit this again for myself one day.

It has a CF7, CEx, 18650 7.4V battery stick, Tri-rebel RGrB LED, touch plate activation RICE and recharge port in speaker can.

Awesome indeed
I should point you to the fact that using the same led I do should give you an extra-ordinary light power:

CF7DS can drive 4 channel, Luminara drove me on the new XPE2 that should be  VERY efficient + the fact you can choose your colors (on Quadpod PCB) leads you to a BBBW configuration: 3 blue dice working permanently and a white one for the FOC

this is what I'm about to achieve, I just had to make Daren at JQSabers lathe specific heatsinks (thank you you saved my project Daren!) but as I asked it very late I will, I'm afraid, got them to late before making a 3week trip to Quebec, the following test will be made mid-july.

For my part I will use one PCB per color (RRRW, GGGW, BBBW and a RGBW for the fun) I just have to disconect the PCB and replace it.

when I see other's sabers I might think they have build them like a Tardis, bigger inside than oustide. Unlike mines huhu.

Thanks everyone.  It is really a neat little saber and I enjoyed how it came together.

Iamhomostellaris - thanks for posting that information.  It will be helpful to many people.  I am however well aware of what the CF7 can do as well as the different LEDs as I have tested and used those LEDs you mention in the tri and quad format.  They are great LEDs for sure but I used what I used because I still prefer the Rebel green (even though they are a lighter shade than they used to be and the XPE2 is darker than the old XPE) and I needed a very small footprint LED.  Plus making the hole in the neck large enough to pass 2 more wires through it would make it weaker and its already thin as is.

Love this saber. This is probably my favorite Obi ever.

Looks so good in the video and sounds spectacular, too. So clear and loud. Love that new CF7 and all the details you put into this hilt just make it stand out.

The copper under the bubble strip looks great,... great idea there. I think this looks better than the prop.

My favorite thing about it is the way you constructed it and formed the pieces you needed and modified others. The pommel solution and emitter solutions are the highlights. Inside looks very tidy as well.

Really great achievement!
