  • You don't want to sell me death sticks.
For sale: 12-color dual RGB sabers, each with a SuperOne 1.0 sound board - made by Makoto.  Each hilt has 12 colors, and both can be connected and disconnected on the fly!  This is an amazing saber staff, and a killer dual wielding pair of sabers.  The hilt design was somewhat customized per my request, as I had requested a simple emitter and hilt that would be ideal for spinning.  These sabers are, therefore, very comfortable to hold and handle extremely well.  Each hilt is about 11.5" in length.     SOLD ON EBAY

Each color is SUPER bright, and the sound board has two different power up and power down modes: Jedi and Sith (no scrolling effect on RGB sabers, though).  Each saber is very loud, but you lose a little volume when the two sabers are connected.

Here are the 12 colors:

CYAN: (one of my faves)

RED #1 (a tad lighter than the other red):

PINK: (kinda cool, actually)  :D

ORANGE: (also very cool)

DARK PURPLE:

LIGHT BLUE: (the difference in the blues is more noticeable in person)

DARK BLUE: (Royal blue)

GREEN:

RED #2: (a tad darker)

BLUE: (another shade)

LIGHT PURPLE: (another one of my faves; looks better in person)

YELLOW: (nice color, and very unique)

AND JUST FOR FUN... 8)

$900 shipped in the US.  International buyers welcome, however, shipping will be calculated separately.

Includes charger.

Lucky lucky man who gets this...I am so very jealous right now.  If only I had 900 for a saber.

Very impressive, if only I had 900 laying around somewhere

Very nice.  Bad timing for me, unfortunately.  I've just been downgraded from gainfully employed to full time student.  Ah well.  hope they find a good home.

Beautiful saber(s). All I need is a $900 discount and I'll take 'em. Seriously though, I'm jealous of their future owner.

Those really are the most functionally perfect pair of sabers I've seen yet, and WELL worth the price.  Good luck with the sale!

Here's a short vid of the sabers.  The start up sound is actually very Luke ROTJ and is very cool.  The second saber you'll see is set on the other sound mode so you can hear the difference:

Wow, that's just awesome!

The sound issue on his saberstaves would likely be fixed with some simple porting.  I have a red one and I plan to address this.  I will link to the vis in a post here if I can find this thread at that time.

$900 for a general use sound included pair/saberstaff in any color you can think of for a particular event....Yeah, I would definately consider that were I not so obsessed with red.

Great looking saber!

Makotos hilts are easy to handle and spin as well by the way.

Thanks,

You just PM him here on the forum - http://www.fx-sabers.com/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=1829   ;)

I would like to add that it took months to get this bad boy made - so a staff like this is not something you can readily purchase from Makoto.  So be prepared to wait!

You do know there are actually two shades of red on this one, right?  Something to consider.  ;) :D

Btw, the color-changing RGB blades are the brightest blades Makoto offers currently, if I'm not mistaken.  I'd say they're about equal in brightness to his single color V3 Plus blades.

Pardon me, but what exactly do you mean by porting?

Btw, just to clarify for everyone, there are no sound issues on these particular sabers.  They're just not as super loud when connected as when their single.

Sorry for my choice of words.

No "issue".   it is (like mine is) just as he says.  I plan on making a couple holes in one of mine, then it will be louder as a saberstaff.  No need for both as the sound from both will go out those "ports" or holes.

On the 2 reds, if I did not have a pair of JQs on order, looking for CFs soonish, and several others in the works....(Picking up my Dooku I hope tomorrow as well.)  LOL

I have FBd this one as it's super cool.  GL with the sale and I hope it crosses my path at a con, I'd love to play with it in person.

It's totally worth the $900.  Were I not buying so much so soon right now...
