I did eventually order a new blade holder #1 from TCSS,  and corrected the shroud issue as best I could.  The "swiss-cheesed" blade holder wound up in my Second MHS/Chrome hardware saber.

Here's the blade which uses a double wrap of Corbin's diffuser and a full roll of Ultrafilm:


I adjusted the settings on the camera to get the blade as true to life as possible,  and this is really close.

Excellant work my friend, I really like the shape of the saber very unique and I have never seena  saber built like that before
