All packed up and ready to go ;D Leaving in the morning for beautiful Prince Edward Island on a 4 day camping trip.
It's going to be nice to get away from the TV,phones, computer and work for a bit ;)

sabers make excellent flashlights, and might confuse bears.

No bears in PEI, but I DO recommend using your saber to make the fishermen avoid you.

Each year it seems, Soundwave Festival in Australia grows to become bigger and bigger, with a huge list of artists being announced. This year is no different, and could in fact be the biggest line up yet. Keep in mind that for us a lot of these names are international bands that have to fly over here (or in Blink 182's case, get a cruise ship), so our festivals can get away with having just a few "big names". It's rare that you see something like this, but after checking out this lineup, I will for sure be there. I am a HUGE music fan, so I have been to more festivals/concerts than I can remember. I know we have at least a few Soundwave fans on the forum over here in Australia, so who else will be attending? I mean, who DOESN'T like Metallica?! :)

Ya ,after 7 years it's time for a new car, the old Commodore wagon is still a good car just a little tired, so here come the 2010 SV6 Commodore (or the G8 to the US saber fans out there)
Voodoo blue ,very nice (best  Borat voice) Now I just have to get the kids to keep it clean.

Finally a proper job.  Fourteen months after qualifying I just finished my first day as an electrician. Thirteen hours of pretty steep learning curve with plenty more to come. All that book work never quite prepares you for it's real world application but it sure feels good to have made a start.  :)

Its been a good week. A buddy at work made a website for our led saber club, and the local comic con asked us to do a couple of one hour demos during the con.

My new costume is being started, and i ordered a new saber last night. Got a 3% raise end of last week, and a 500$ bonus cheque.

Yup, pretty good week so far.

After a terrible week this week, I finally had something happen today that I've been excited about for MONTHS now. First thing this morning when the shops opened, I bought the new Muse album 8) my favourite band of all time, I'm very much looking forward to checking the new album out when I get home :) now I'm just waiting for an Australian tour announcement so I can see them live once again. I've lost count of how many times I've seen them live now, and they smash it every time.

 ;)

My stepdaughter today got me out of the study saying she heard cat sounds from behind the dryer. We just moved here last Saturday.I of coarse am a cat and dog lover and searched behind the dryer.Did not see anything ;but, still heard little cat cries.I took the dryer apart from behind and found the little cuss between the wall.I took the cat from behind after I  ran after and caught the kitten from behind.Oh man that kitten let me have it lol :D :D Anyway I saved it's life.Like the turtle man said""Talk about live action!!""
