I have Adobe Photoshop, but am VERY amatur with it. I've made a couple of pictures......I am part of the site

RedvsBlue, some of you might know the site and videos (If not, go check it out) and I made a pic for one of the well known members who was IP banned from the site, because he was blamed for some terrioist ordeal on the site, when it was really one of the moderators who went crazy.

Here it is. Its not good. It was my first photoshop ever. I thought it was pretty funny though. Lots of people liked it. You probably won't understand the photo, but here it is....

any one  know how to size a File down... Its at 0.99 of a MB and no Image hoster will take it.

I hjave no idea on how to size an image down unfortunatley.

If you shrink the image or save it as a certain file like PNG seem to work good or GIF. It will go down in size I am thinking.

In photoshop go to the option save for web under the file menu.  If it's still too big try messing around with the compression rates on the side.  I've made 150MB .psd files go down to 3MB with no image degredation.

Have you tried saving it as a different file? Instead of .bmp or something, use JPEG. Sure it might lower the quality a tad, but its not too bad.

I have nothing to add to this thread, other than to show off the awesome sig Ki-Adi-Mundi made for me.  I used to be pretty good with PaintShopPro, but I really hate the interface since Corel bought them out.  Guess I'll have to break down and learn Photoshop... someday.

haha Ya I will have to use to learn Photoshop one day also. I hear you can do some much more and better effects. I just use Arcsoft Photostudio because I had a disc of it laying around at my house. It is pretty good for not being photoshop haha. You just got to give it some TLC. haha
