Black piece on top of coil chipped on CEX
« on: March 31, 2017, 06:10:24 PM »
How crucial is the black piece that is chipped off the top of one of the coils on my CEX? Is it just for the coils to to wrap around or is it actually a critical in the operation of the board? My dumb xxx accidentally knocked it off my table when getting ready to start soldering the CF8. I still have the piece that came off also incase it is just for the coils to wrap and can attach it with some sort of glue or other compound.
