Excellent review!!  8)

As Joclad said, the sounds are quiet compared to any of the newer FX's  The EL can only get so bright with any batteries.  Heck I use to use rechargeables in my Anakin and I put in Energizer Lithiums instead and...no difference in blade performance.

Its good to have another Anakin AOTC review on the boards.  They are few and far between.

May The Force FX Be With You!

Great Review, Mr BigT! ;)

wow i though it was BIGGER then the ani.  it looks a tiny bit smaller.  I may have to get this saber ;D

Yes, mine is bigger than my Ani ROTS. By at least an inch. :o I'll post some pics of that later today. Right now it is bed time. 8)

hehe okay.  Yes I agree that the Anakin AOTC reviews are fare and few inbetween.  Besides you, drysdalk, and myself I think there are only a couple of others on this forum that have this saber.

As I said this saber could really benifit for a re-release with the current electronics and smaller hilt.

By the way Acampa my picture was deciving probably becuase of the angle I took it at.  The Anakin AOTC hilt is as Cin stated about an inch longer than the ROTS.

As I said it was just the angle I took that.  I just barely took this picture and this is a direct over-head view of the two lined up perfectly via their pommels.

Yes it would benefit from a re release :D

In fact it would be about the same diameter as the new Yoda is...

I have an AOTC (made by Chen) that is very acurately sized (this is a machined prototype equivalent of an MR LE)

It's actually about as narrow as the Ultra stunt saber I recently styled to have an Anakin look to it.
I'll try to post some picts in our Image gallery some time comaring the AOTC FX to the actual prop size
and relative stunt saber etc... ;)

I guess no pic from me is necessary. I've always liked the feel of the AOTC Anakin.
