I hope Yoda and Anakin don't mind if I repost the pictures...

The pictures from Yoda's thread:

The pictures from Anakin's Thread:

Also from Anakin's thread a pic of the Yoda AOTC LE next to the FX:

The MR prototype that Yoda took pictures of resembled that of the AOTC version.  However the production version from Anakin's pictures are that of the ROTS version (minus the weathered look)

I do think I touched on this in another thread but I'll go over it again ;)
here are the picts of the prototype I did originally (well over a year ago now :D )
http://www.fx-sabers.com/coppermine/displayimage.php?album=random&cat=0&pos=-42

I did update it with a new control box and a few other details so I should take a new pict of it next to
the MR production piece to see how they did a great job of reducing the size and making it much more
accurate than my concept piece was.

I'll see if I can put some new picts in the Gallery soon and add the links to this thread when I do ;)

sorry all, i guess is should have clairified better. I am fully aware of the MR prototype for the Yoda FX that our own Yoda posted in his review, i saw it in the thread. I have also already seen Yoda's own prototype he constructed out of an Anakin FX. I just wanted to see a comparison between our Yoda's "homemade" prototype and the FINAL versions released by MR via some snap shots of the two next to each other and Yoda's own thoughts about the prototype he made versus the MR final product. Thanks again everyone.

MR's final product was better than mine for accuracy because it was formed from specifically molded parts
as where mine was mostly hand made/cut etc...
And Mine was a quick prototype that was done for gathering influence.
If I wanted to more precisely make one I could have but that would have cost a lot more.
So where as I hand cut my Shroud had I CNC'd it with a thicker material it would have been
better still.

I have since stripped the electronics from my prototype but I have the hilt with the Emitter in it.
and I will post some side by side picts over the weekend maybe.

Theirs is smaller and more accurate but mine could take a lot more abuse if dueled with as it could have handled
a thick walled blade because of the larger hilt.

I'll get those picts up soon ;)
