Maybe now they can make FX-Ultimate sabers like Hyperdyne only less expensive because they have a larger market for selling this babies.

NO Way! If they remade every single saber, we would have the crappy version and we all have to buy the more cooler version and waste money(at least for me cause i cant go on knowing there is a better version)

Yeah I agree with that but what about buying the sound upgrade and MR installs it for you, kind of what other have done

That is a good question...is this only going to apply to the new sabers being made from here on out, or is it going to apply to the older ones being remade?

I'd be willing to bet that it will only apply to the newer ones being made from here on out.

2010...I certainly hope it's better than 2009 was! ::)
10/10/10~Well, so far with my Father's passing away, I'd say that this year was actually worse than 2009, even the fact that I now have a full time job (For now) isn't anywhere near enough to make up for that...so...maybe 2011 will be better? I'm not holding my breath... ::)

Well, I'm not a MR FX Saber expert, but aren't the sound chips stored in the battery holder?  And if so, wouldn't it be easier to just replace the battery holder with one that has all the new sounds in it?  I'm probably wrong here, but I'm holding out hope that I'll be able to get a new sound set for my Vader ESB....

Nope, they aren't stored in the battery compartment. They are actaully in the back part of the blade holder.

Once those new gen sabers are out, I'm going to end up cracking open some of my exisiting sabers and swapping chips.

I am sure that in the near future the older sabers will be able to get upgrades, of all the upgrades out there I want the movie accurate sounds above all elese

I think it would also be sweet if there was a separate button to activiate music from different battle scenes as well (optional to turn on though).

Funny I read at the same time as hearing the Wheel of Fortune from POTC II. :D

But an upgrade would be nice. And, to spend a little more, maybe have them done professionally by a MR rep or an affliliated company do it for us. That way no screw-ups. (We won't have to disect our sabers and accidently ruin them)

Maybe.... ;D :D :P
Both yes and no, I guess, Obi-Wan is my favourite charcter, and I love the ROTS saber.
But the fact that it is somehow connected to Ewan is a pluss ;)
