eFX Starkiller

Here's are some additional shots of the eFX Galen Marek Starkiller prototype hilt from the eFX exhibit at Comic-Con 2012.  These are clicky and you can really see the details in this upcoming hilt.  If you've seen the shots at Rebelscum, these might offer different perspectives...

My initial feeling when I saw this prototype was that it looked unfinished and sorta raw.  Not too keen on the recharge pins either. But, we'll see how it turns out....

Yeah I'm quite interested to see how they turn out myself.

...this is kinda silly but I gotta point out that I really like the plaque :D

They will probably have a big booth at CVI like they did for CV. I should go down there with my VV Starkiller for a comparison.  ;)

Not silly at all.  I really like the plaque too.

Wow this Starkiller looks great  :o

I like the blade holder very much and I think this is a must have  :D 8)

Haha... Well, it's a fool's errand, boy. The Emperor's army is infinite. You'll eventually be killed... or worse... and nothing will have changed.

Personally I think the VV Starkiller blows this one away.  I know they studied countless screenshots from the game itself and I have as well.  While this one is good VV is better IMHO.

I wonder if it's a reveal/openable set up with an Led for the crystal chamber?
Or is it just a a nice paperweight.

What I don't get is clearly what we do here at fx isn't some secret. Why hasn't some big company taken the fx saber concept and ran with it? Every single person I show my collection to, star wars fan or not, is instantly intrigued and wants one.

Given that, why do they continue to just make, as Jango said, lovely paperweights?

My thought as well.  If it is a reveal saber, I'm interested, though I'd obviously prefer a VV one (that isn't really a question guys, right?  Right?).  A static prop, not so much, unless it has conversion potential, which these official ones tend to lack.

Because Hasbro owns the rights to the FX Saber line?
