hahaha swinging the saber at the girlfriend if she distracts you from the video game... sounds exactly like me haha.
Well Im sad to say once again i have perchased another dodgy deal... I bought an mr maul staff converted and was so excited for it to arrive... turns out my blades dont even fit in it, not even ultraedges (too thin) and also one side of the staff makes sound but doesnt even light up and doesnt have any clash sounds at all... very dissapointed.. :(

That's really disappointing mate.
Hey, when you say that the blades don't fit, was that the hilt is too small?

Did you get to install the gold screws yet?

Hi another from Brisbane. My first post even. Waiting for a couple of sabers from JQ Sabers.

Not sure whether anyone has heardof the "lightsabre" laser ppointer fiasco, but importing LED sabers to Australia shouldn't be a problem right?

I've had some people state that online postage quotes state that over 43" can't be shipped to Australia, but that's not true.
I received heaps of FX sabers from US and UK etc, no problem.

whot cha gettin' from JQ???

Just a question for those in Brissy who have imported led sabers from the us or uk. Do customs normally hold the package or inspect them?

My package from JQ is currently held by customs according to the shipment tracking. Hopefully it's ok. I know that laser pointers are prohibited so hopefully they won't mistake the sabers as laser pointers.

Thanks!

Live up in Rocky
Never had a single MR saber held up, but they aren't single LED
Shouldn't imagine it'd be a problem though

Melbourne guy here, New to this forum. Been Star Wars fan many a long year, only started collecting the MR fx sabers for 2-3 years now. Have 7 including saHasbro Count Dooku Lightsaber. I also have a signature limited edition Mara Jade Hilt signed by Shannon McRandle. I have just started my new hobby of saber building, awaiting parts to begin my first prototype.

I am looking for local mates to build, duel and hang out with in regards to Star Wars / lightsabers.
"A lightsaber is an interesting weapon. A blade unique in the history of warfare. A paradox, not unlike the Jedi who wield it: those peaceful warriors, who kill in the service of life. Have you ever noticed? The blade is round. It has no edge. But it is a lightsaber—which means it is nothing but edge. There is no part of this blade that does not cut. Curious, yes? Symbolic, one might say."

From Sydney over here.

Looking to get my first saber in the next month or two (Birthday money for the win!), looking at either the Vader's Vault Havoc Stunt or something from Ultrasabers.

Between the Light and the Dark, there must be Balance.
