The trailer is well-done.

I don't think they released Star Wars on HD yet....

The question remains... if you've got them on DVD why in the world would you want to watch them on TV?  They'll most likely be heavily edited down for time alloted on TV and as we know there will be a ton of commercials.  If you want to watch all six in a row, plop in your DVD's and watch them.  At least that way they won't be edited down and will be commercial free.

I guess for those who have an HDTV and HD connection. I know that on my PS3, it comes sweet. Not quite Blu-Ray, (Anyone remember HD? :D Oooo, NASTY!) but still sweet. Speaking of which, I have to update mine again tonight to V2.20.

BTW don't forget most likely on TV especially Spike TV, they'll be in nasty pan and scan mode (fullscreen).  Where as the DVD's you'll get them in all their widescreen glory ....that is if you bought the widescreen editions.  Who in their right minds would want fullscreen of any movie is beyond me...

last I heard SW hadn't actually been released in HD yet and the TV networks that have been (saying that they are) broadcasting it "in HD" were really just providing an 'upscaled' version of the standard DVD feed, just like you would get from watching the standard DVD's in a playstation3 (or any upscaling DVD player).  I could be wrong, but I don't think Lucas has released an HD version for broadcast, because, to do so would spoil the market for the inevitable bluray release.  normally george is very careful about that kind of thing

but I haven't read the promos about this spike TV run, so I don't know..  maybe it really is HD this time.   (I doubt it).
