So, I've been making a concerted effort to get back in touch with my artistic side. Here's some of my work so far. Be brutally honest.

Shooting Star, Oil on canvas (My first oil painting, was quite a learning experience!)

You have a lot of talent my friend :). Thanks for sharing. I like the last one best 8) . Amazing that it was your first foray into oils. It really is beautiful :).
-
Thank you! I finished it up last night, I can't believe its still drying! lol. I had to move it to another room for fear of me accidentally brushing up against it.
Starting on another project tonight, I will keep you posted :)
-
Agreed. Shooting star is definately the best.
Nice job.
-
That's really awesome man! Looks like it belongs in an art gallery. Gotta agree on shooting star, that one is incredible! :o
-
I like shooting star but simething about lament really grabs me. I think that one is my favorite :)
Untitled is really cool too
-
The shooting star reminds me of the ewok celebration on Endor at the end of ROTJ :)
-
I'm with The_Night on this one. Lament does grab you, and is therfore my favorite. Although something about Darktown is really intriguing as well. But great work overall, Grey. Terrific stuff.
-
Its funny...Lament I did while I was super depressed...and I have no idea how to replicate that texture again. If I have to be sad in order to I guess I will just pass lol.
Here's my latest.

New one finished today. Was inspired by a church's stained glass window driving home this week.
Untitled, acrylic on canvas.
-
I would hang any of them in my house, I like them all.
Favorite is Shooting Star also but Lament is really nice and this latest Stained glass painting has colors that speak to me. I like the geometric shapes in it, which make it very interesting to me. ;D

I would hang any of them in my house, I like them all.
That's probably the best compliment I've ever had! Thanks!
My next big project is going to take a while. I've always wanted to create a living painting. So after some searching might have developed a technique for painting with moss. (Yes, I was inspired by Tatooine Ghost, lol)
-
I have to agree with what everyone else has said. These are really nice. The one that really made me stop and stare though was 'A Breath of Fresh Air'. Great work!
-
Couple new ones. Been experimenting with a new technique of painting with liquid latex. Gives a great layerd effect I think. One on the left is "Standing in the Middle of Infinity" and the one on the right is "Ruin"
