AN AWESOME REVIEW MASTER QUIGON 8) 8) 8)

All I can say is once these things start getting converted to Luxeons and people
can shorten the blades just by 4 inches on each side... it will make a HUGE difference
in being able to use it and rotate it behind the back etc... etc...

I also think lighting up the inner crytal with an independent LED would be extra cool ;)

I think making some "damaged" looking sleeves to go over the End to make it look
more movie acurate for display. 8)

Yes the aftermarket will be happy about this saber!

Well... not to mention that the Luxeon Blades are by far much lighter when spinning.
If using the thin walled blades from Corbins components...
I know those LED strips don't seem like a lot of weight but when spinning a blade around
the centifugal weight amplifies so...
The Lighter the better, especially in this case because it's not like a true "bow" and the Maul
limits you to holding it by the center. Less weight on the ends will be a welcome modification here :)

I know mine will be getting gutted for conversion eventually...
But first it has to get here ::)

The Release dates and Selling of this Saber has me puzzled a bit though :-\
I think MR purpousely released it early themselves and made the distributors have to wait for theirs :(
IF they do this all the time... why even sell to distributors and just keep the sales for them selves and
be exclusively an on line store? :-\
Because let's face it... so many will have been able to order it from MR directly...why wait for it to be
some where else and especially if the price isn't that different :-X

Hence why many dealers have MR FX's in stock right now :o
Well I guess I'll make the ones we get to sell at the site, into Doublesided Luxeons ;)
that way they will be Mauls meant for Dueling ;D

I wondered if it was going to have some way to line up the buttons, other than keep unscrewing and screwing it back in through trial and error.  MR has won my vote on this one finally.

Not too shabby

I have emailed MR and hopefully we'll see results shortly :)

Im sorry but I have to disagree with u qui-gon with 1 thing.

u said that
"My first impression was, "Wow, this thing is light!" So, I proceeded to do a few "spins" and "twirls" to see how it handled. I was VERY impressed! The hilt is narrower than  previous models, and therefore alot easier to handle. I was able to spin the saber with the fingers rather easily."

In my opinion, this saber is not weight balanced, thus it is not easy/comfortable to 'spin' it.
Sure I love this, but this is the only point i hate :-\

xxx.... a really nice review... reading... reading ... and "Stay tuned, Part 2 coming shortly!" AAAARGH!!!  ;D

anyway, cause of my poor english, I dont understand a thing: the coupler must be disassembled ONLY if you want an aligned sabre right? if you want a random position or opposite position (to me is easy to ignite both at the same time with opposite sides, just think how you handle the hilt with two hands...) you dont have to use the allen wrench, I'm right?

seems like the allen wrench is what adjusts the alignment. If the default setting doesnt line up how you want it to, you have to use the allen to change it how you like it
