Vader's True ROTJ Saber

It turns out, that Vader's ROTJ saber was really the hero Vader ESB saber. Pretty convincing pictorial evidence too.

Pretty cool. Been following this over at the RPF for a bit.

You know, it always amazes me that over 20 years later we're still finding out all these cool things. Like the Vader ESB hero being used in ROTJ and that recent pic of the right side of the Han Blaster in a magazine (LINK).

Those people at the RPF do never cease to amaze me.

Awesome news, I'm glad that the ESB is also the ROTJ as I always hated the Graflex version.

10/10/10~Well, so far with my Father's passing away, I'd say that this year was actually worse than 2009, even the fact that I now have a full time job (For now) isn't anywhere near enough to make up for that...so...maybe 2011 will be better? I'm not holding my breath... ::)

Actually, yes and no.
It is the ESB until vader throws his saber at luke on the gantry. Then it becomes the canabalized graflex, until after vader's hand is severed by luke.  Then we do not see his saber any more.

There are a few of these models floating around now, mostly modded sabers, but the MR version is still my favorite. I'm not sure why I haven't gotten the DV6 version, but I mostly want the saber to collect, so waiting for the unicorn MR LE version.
