I always love when a great halloween comes along. This year was excellent with four of us handmaking our costumes. We went as X-MEN!!! and it turned out awesome. The characters we chose are the ones that we've had as nicknames thoughout our lives. I am Archangel, with custom built wings, then we also had Colossus, Gambit, and Dazzler which I thought was really original. Check them out and let me know what you think!

That is so freaking awesome man!  I looooove the X-Men... big Marvel fan right here.

I hosted a party this year in my Twin Roses robes... turned out pretty well I think!  No good pics from the actual party, but here's one of me in my kitchen:

The robes are sorta Luke ROTJ inspired (hence the cloak instead of a robe).

Happy Halloween!

Here is my 2012 Sith Costume. Pics are from my friend's annual Halloween party.

I went to a costume contest for Halloween and it seems they uploaded a video of the contest.  Here is the small part where we see me :)  (I was nervous)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k2z_iMouJyU&feature=youtu.be

I had something important to right after, so I wasn't even there to know if I won or not :(
People really enjoyed my costume and some took pictures,  I will try to get those pictures.

I love Halloween, but I hate that people think it's the only day we can wear costumes.  About a month ago, I had my costume, at that same location with pretty much the same people arround, to shoot a video.  People had that strange look like I was a freak.  But on Halloween, everybody made great comments on my costume.  When I was a kid the same thing happened :(  I had a costume for a speicial occasion and people in the street yelled that it's not Halloween.

Thanks a lot everyone!  8)

Everything (except the helmet) I bought as a set, which includes the chest piece with the light up arc reactor, from a higher end Halloween store.  The helmet is totally custom made and was made by an awesome prop maker I spotted on eBay.

Dave, the lightsaber idea is actually something I've been thinking about lol.  But no, didn't carry one with it. :)

CK, no video unfortunately, but I've got other pics I can post when I get some free time.  ;)

Homemade (By myself) Jedi and Padawan costumes of my son and I modeled after Obi1 and Anakin. One picture is us on halloween and the other two are professional pictures we had made. I plan to redo mine to a more Obi-ish inter and outer tunics. I know there not "Movie exact" but not bad for my first costumes. Let me know what you think, and any advice to make at least mine better (my sons wont even fit next halloween so I am not that worried)

Thank you,

QuiGon Lee

Kit,

I simply bought a reg sized one and removed the velcro strips from the back of it. Then measured and  cut it to size then finely glued and resowed the velcro back so that it fit around his waist. Took like half an hour plus drying time.
