Official Halloween Costume thread

This year, the kids wanted to do something different from Star Wars, and wanted to do something as a family.  So they decided they wanted to do Super Heroes, which is great because I have a favorite super hero that ranks almost as high as my obsession with Darth Vader and collected many his comics when I was a kid.  (Brother ended up selling a large majority while I joined the Marine Corps ... still a sore subject.  Especially the original issues ...  lol)

My wife's sister's family went Trick or Treating with our family and it was an eventful Saturday, from 2pm to about 11pm.







It was a blast.  Everyone had a great time; the adults and the kids!  Course, it had to drop about into the 40s towards the end, and here Wolverine is in nothing but his tank top.  LOL... could see the mist coming from our breath.  It was great fun though.

I was planning on doing Raistlin Majere from the Dragonlance world this year but I didnt get it completed. Hers what I got so far:


Still need to pick up gold body paint and a white wig and finish the Staff of Magius.

Went out with my wife and nephew all sporting our Jedi robes. Will post pics once I get them...

everyone has such great costumes I hope you all had a fantastic Halloween as I know we did as this was the first time I went out in full costume even when I was a kid  I never went out in full costume, the funny thing was that I kept getting called Darth Vader, I know I'm a smoker but I didn't think my breathing was that bad LOL  I will post some pics of the night when I can get them off the camera

Everytime I try to get my wife to dress up as padme she gives me a sideways glance.  Great little family you got there. 

Thanks.  We all had a blast this Halloween.  We/I have never gone all out like this before.  Lord Vader was really turning heads, and my little padawans and my queen were perfect for their roles.  I started planning this in June, which is what led me to these forums.   Happy Halloween all, and MTFBWY.

Well here is a pic of my fiancee and I all dressed up! She has dreads that work perfect for that Princess Leia look and I used some robes I got from Jango!

Yeah I wore my robes to work last night... most people knew I was a Jedi I had one couple ask if I was Vader lol

Well at least most people knew what your were, I wore mine Sat, and even had my Light Saber lit most of the time, Most people asked if I was Ken from Street Fighter(note to self re-costume Idea).  LOL    I had one couple that knew what I was right away,but that was because she was dressed as Padme Amidala. oh well I had fun.  Not enough of "Our Kind" around my area I guess.

I had one woman look at me and say,

"Wow, nice Freddy Kruegar."

       

Her husband laughed at her and was about to say something when her kid said, "Mom, he's Wolverine.  Freddy has the burned face and knives on his gloves."

I think that is the trend across the board Duff... and Raijlin... that is just too funny, who doesn't know who wolverine is honestly?

Great costumes!  Really can't believe that someone thought you were Kruegar.  Too funny
