Anakin podracer helmet

does anyone know if lucas films ever licensed Anakins podracer helmet? i wondered if they were rare or what i have seen one made of plastic, does anyone know about these or if they are worth anything?

i didnt know what section to put this in so i guess its a question!

I knew someone made one, and I found this Don Post over at starwarshelmets.com.



There may have been others too, starwarshelmets.com is a great resource for nice pics and lots of in depth helmet information.

It's a great site and I think the helmet is pretty cool too.
It looks accurate to the film, and I love that leather detail and the flip up goggles.
I didn't like young Anakin very much in TPM, but this helmet looks like a really good replica.
They aren't very popular, though, from what I can make out.
They tend to sell fairly cheaply on Ebay.

Yeah it's a site to lose yourself in for a while. ;)
I have always thought that one of the best looking helmets in SW is the Tie Fighter Pilot's helmet.  8)
I'm not sure why, it's just that I have always been drawn to it.
I would love to get a good replica of one, and lust after a Stormtrooper and a Vader too.
Can't afford any of them at the moment, but at least I am earning again now, so who knows, maybe later this year... :-\

I love the tie fighter helmet, and the storm trooper helmets, and vaders helmet, and the Fett's.

But i never liked this Anakin helmet, it looks like a spaced out bike helmet.

From what I understand, that's just what it is.
I have read somewhere that it is 'based' around a child's cycling helmet.
I still think it looks pretty good, especially considering it's origins.

i just realized those Royal Guard helmets look a lot like the old Mandalorian helmets for those of you who played KOTOR you know what i mean
