I have been waiting to hear from JSS about some components, too. I have already paid and am waiting for him to respond.
I know he has been busy lately and has also had some PC trouble, so perhaps this is why he is slower to respond then usual.

It would be nice to hear from you, JSS. Just let me know how things are coming along.

does that custom luke blade socket make it stronger and more dureable for dueling or is it just for show? is a standard luke with a luxeon conversion but still with the original blade socket not very strong?

any help appreciated!

The extension adds some stability and support to the blade since it doesn't sit very far into the hilt.

FYI:
You may want to read through my review on it as well from the original prototype.
They are great for the reagular/thin walled blades, but are not recommended for the thickwalled blades

You know, come September when I get back from the desert, I'm going to have about $20k just burning a hole in my bank account.  This may be one of my purchases, as this custom looks AWESOME!  First, I gotta find a Luke ROTJ though.  Hopefully there will be some on Ebay when I get back.

Yes, you can get the Luke 2005 ROTJ on eBay, just make sure you look for the deals. Some are seling for WAAAAAY too much.
