Congrats on the new CNC Wat. I am sure that that will save you lots of time so that you can spend more with your family and also spend more time for more complicated sabers/parts/runs. The more the machine can do, the more design work it takes. hehe

I've always thought that putting a rotary table on a CNC mill just made sense. It's like putting a lathe right onto your worktable.
Haas is a good brand, but personally I'm a fan of Fanuc's Robodrill line. However I'm biased, I work for a distributor.

If only I had the space and $ to afford one.

With one of these there's almost nothing you cant make out of a block of material. Add a 5th axis and nothing will be outside of the realm of possibility.
