Sorry for the double post but I wanted to share this with you all. I have been working on this new G1 style head for my custom Devastator. So after a little sculpting, sanding, painting, and of course countless touch-ups it's finally finished... :D  I'm very happy with the way it came out. Pics will be posted here so you can see the differences between the other heads and this new one that I just finished. Please let me know what you all think ? ::)

OMFG!!! Wow-!

Man, I love the Computron project and am just as blown away by DEVASTATOR! possibly even more so just because I was never really a fan of the original when I was a kid-always seemed flimsy to me - not like Superion or even Computron. I think it was how the legs attached-if i remember correctly there was that purple "wing" the legs clipped onto then that clipped into the torso (?)

So, that said, THIS is how Devastator should have looked back then - the paint job is outstanding and the grime is amazing! Also, the Constructicons on their own are gorgeous robots! For me, it's a close 1st between Hook and Long Haul but I think overall (vehicle AND bot mode) I like Long Haul most. Mainly, I love, love, LOVE the huge Decepticon logo on the truck bed and it is so cool when it's on Devastator's back -!

Imagine if the TFs looked that good when we were kids?? I would have lost my mind!!

Again, I love Computron and know, this comment in no way is meant to take away from the super awesome job you did and the choice of paint colours on your part was fantastic, I guess because A) the original Dev never appealed to me and B) Dev was kind the first combo super-bot in the Transformers Universe, he holds a special place in all our hearts and C) Even though I had the original Computron, I always wished it was Superion ;)

In closing - WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW!!! Pleases, keep the vids coming and more toys too - I actively choose not to collect because I will get outta hand if I do so this is a way for me to live vicariously through you and others that contribute to the custom toy hobby!

Thanks so much, Dracus!

Thanks so much, Dracus!

My friend Aaron made this Devastator for me last year. It took around 9 months to make. A lot of R & D went into his design and cosmetic layout. This devastator build inspierd me to build Computron and Aaron is helping me out with that as I am new to the custom TF hobby. I have been collecting Transformers since 1984. Out of the 6 bots Long Haul and Mixmaster are my favorites.

Thank you for your kind words and comments truly appreciated... :) I have more upgrades for Devastator in the works and will post them soon. Stay Tuned... ::)
