Definitely 5 FTW!

Personally I'd go with a fluted 3" forward for the extra gription instead of the plain but YMMV of course...it'll be a nice looking design either way.
To DREAM the IMPOSSIBLE DREAM. To FIGHT the unbeatable foe. To BEAR with unbearable sorrow. To RUN where the brave dare not go. To RIGHT the unrightable wrong. To LOVE, PURE AND CHASTE, FROM AFAR [-sigh-]. To TRY, when your arms are too weary; to REACH the unreachable Star!... This is my Quest; To follow that Star, no matter how hopeless, no matter how far...

thanks guys!

Yeah, I will have a hard time foguring out which I like more. my faves are 2 and 5 but I do like 4 as well, maby it's aliitle too much Luke. I dunno..

5 is cool I think. There is something about not having a over complicated build and just something sleek, elegant and simple.

I could see number 5 as a Master or Emperor hilt in KOTOR time. Something ''royal'' about it I think...

Here is a hilt I started on a long time ago. It was lacking a emitter as I never found the 'one' that fitted the style with that pommel.

but after alot of trying and failing I came to the conclusion that this emitter fits very well with the rest.

I show you two hilts, originally it was a hilt with a bargraph but I tried it with a small chamber as well..

what do you think?

Hilt with warlock grey PC. custom made pommel insert, Bargraph/chamber, ''adjustment'' screw (static), control box with 2 buttons, smaller 'obi' extension. covertech wheel.

What is coming out of the pommel?  And what kind of grips are just behind the emitter?  Additionally, what is on the reverse side of the control box?  Looks good btw

I can't answer all of those, but my guess is, the thing opposite the control box is the recharge port with a kill key in it.

It is going to be very difficult to fit the bargraph and/or chamber in the same real estate as the switches.  You may be able to sneak an smd bargraph there, but I would probably consider losing those features or placing them someplace else on the hilt.

I have to agree with LUMUINARA... Maybe there will be enough space for the bargraph and the switches (if you use TCSS's short ones) but it would be a snug fit.
If the other button is a kill key, forget the recharge port... I really don't think it will fit. You can always move it down, near the pommel  ;)
If it is the static screw, no problem  ;D
