SC AND VV QUI-GON JINN TPM LIGHTSABER #7 OF 30
I received my SC/VV Qui-Gon from Vader's Vault just today, #7 of 30, and I
immediately had to get this review up. Let's just skip the buildup and get right to it, this saber is
OUTSTANDING and has been hit completely out of the park by SaberConcepts and VV. This saber is just amazing in literally every single way and is hands down the
PERFECT Qui-Gon Jinn lightsaber the same way the Wat Obi TPM is the perfect Obi-Wan TPM saber. I still cannot get over the fact that this is an LE-accurate (yep I can confirm this because I've got the LE and have compared the two below

) Qui-Gon hilt with 100% accurate deep grooves going down to the middle of the hilt AND is fully working with the best sound board on the planet and has 1" blade opening! A HUGE thanks to Rhyen at SaberConcepts and Vader's Vault for a superb job bringing this magnificent saber to reality.

I went with full powah (tm) on this beaut, and I'm REALLY happy I did to say the least! It was tough giving up FoC on this, but I couldn't resist opting for the brightest blade possible. This is the brightest green saber I've owned to date, and I've had some really bright ones. The camera actually went a tad crazy trying to capture the brightness of this thing, so excuse the fuzzy pics.

The blade is just stunning, and while runtime will no doubt be reduced with this set up, I absolutely would not have it any other way now.
The sounds are absolutely fantastic as expected. The 2 watt speaker sounds better than ever in this saber; the sounds are crystal clear, loud, and incredibly deep. The new Qui-Gon version of "Fates" by Madcow is just epic and compliments the saber perfectly. I also just love the menu boot sounds and background music that VV incorporated into this saber, special thanks to Alex Gordon and I believe Simpi for their part in that.

The stand by Sanjuro is amazingly cool-looking and a true example of professional stand work. It's great having such a professional stand maker in this community, and just sweet that we were treated to one such stand to go along with this epic run.

The wooden case that also comes with each of these sabers is sweet as well and is just one more thing that made this run even more appealing. We really were spoiled on the stand/case front with this run.
On to the pics:

Here are some pics comparing the SC/VV Qui-Gon (bottom) to the MR LE. They are pretty much identical:

Below is the SC/VV Qui-Gon displayed instead of the LE temporarily. I used just the plaque portion of Sanjuro's stand in the trio case for the pics:
