Yeah the HK boot was just something that quickly came to mind. It's a good idea but I'm starting to think the three I made already is enough.

As for your current project, Have you sourced anything from kotor2? I dunno if the sounds are different, but it's something to consider. There might be some useful stuff there.

I did take a listen to the lightsaber sounds from KOTOR II when choosing sounds and they are exactly the same as in the first game. In that case it didn't matter which one I recorded them from. I have KOTOR I and a sound card recorder program on my computer so I was able to do everything there.

As for submitting this to saberfont.com, I am definitely considering it. First things first I need to finish it and have it tested. As for my other fonts, well, I don't have any others yet. This is my very first sound font.

@ Link - Link my good man, it's going very well. Thank you for asking! The font is coming along. Almost done with it but I haven't had much time to work on it lately. (College   ). Anyway as far as submitting the font to Saberfont goes, I definitely want to. I will have it beta tested but I want to do that myself as well before I get it out to other people. Unfortunately I won't be near a saber to test it until May so that's why things have been a little slow. However this all will come to life! Believe me when I say I'm very much looking forward to it. Thanks for your vote of confidence!! That really means something to me.  

@ Everybody else - I will take this as an opportunity to let you in on a little update. Included with the sound font will be two iSaber tracks. You guys want to take a wild guess as to where the songs are from? Haha!    Yup there were be two KOTOR battle tracks, one from each game, for your enjoyment as well!!

Possibly. I need to learn more about the Igniter sound board first because I know the files are structured differently than the ones for the CF or PC. Once I am good to go with those two then I will look into Igniter. I would like to try. I don't want to leave anybody out.

Ok I actually gave the Igniter manual a look-see tonight and it actually is much more simple than I thought. If I am understanding it correctly, the Igniter plays the swings, clashes, blocks, etc. at the same time with the looping hum? Can I get someone more well versed in Igniter to confirm this for me?

This quote was from naigon himself answering a question of mine. Here is the quote and the link to the thread is below it.

Those fonts are ones I specifically tweaked to work with Igniter(tm). You have to edit the sounds a bit to get them to sound best. Mainly you need to change the hum to like 50-60%, add a bit of compression on the swings and do like a 100-140Hz highpass filter on them. I cannot distribute those since I do not have permission from the owner, but again you can buy those fonts and do the same tweaks that I did.

The only other thing I read was that its designed for 44100hz but works just fine with 22050hz / 16bit -   Don't quote me on that lol     Hope this helps friend
