Do you have a list of do's and don'ts?

I need to figure out what I'd do... *ponders* I don't do funny, and I ain't that great with graphics... hmmm... And reinstall photoshop

Oh and figure out why my scanner hates my laptop... Oh and it's time for bed! Wooo look at the hour!!

Hmm... off the top of my head... just try to avoid anything that clutters the design or makes it hard to read. Use simple concepts like shapes and basic fonts (play with the spacing on the fonts). Remember not to add any glows as that will mess up the "printability" of the t-shirt. Keep colors in mind. Try to keep the colors central to a theme...

That's all I can think of right now. Again, try just Googling "cool t-shirt designs" and browsing through them for some ideas. Taking inspiration from another design is not a crime, and is often encouraged - as long as you don't replicate the design exactly.

Shaak, if meant a list of contest rules, then no, nothing additional that wasn't mentioned in the first post. If you meant designing do's and don'te as a graphic designer yourself, I'm sure you already know all the basics that Master Durangus mentioned. And I'm sure that if MD was reading this that meant he wanted to show us his skills by entering himself.

IF you want to enter, but feel that your skillz are lacking, why not team up with someone with more knowledge? If you have a design that you want help with, feel free to post it, and then ask the community for help. You can do anything you want, post as many times as you want, edit your submissions all you want UNTIL MARCH 15, 2012. Then you're going to let the chips fall where they may.

All: the contest has not been dropped, but there has been an unforeseen delay (mostly due to the previously chosen vendor). I have kept the contests open because it would not seem fair to close the contest only to not be able to get the t-shirts made up.

Please people, if anyone wanted to enter the contest, but thought the contest closed, feel free to bring on the entries!
