1986 Transformers Movie Sound Font

No, I don't have this font already... but I want one!

I think this may have been mentioned in Nova's thread some time ago.. perhaps by me.. I don't remember. But here's the idea:

A sound font based on the 1986 Transformer's movie!

It would be cool if there was musical clips after clashes and swings and such (just like Juansith's Legends).
Such as Optimus Prime quotes, Megatron quotes, maybe even Orson Wells "I will give you a new body!"

Maybe the ominous music of the planet-eater approaching... dum dum dum dum... dum dum dum dum
The music of this movie! Oh the music!!!

Because the score of the movie was so awesome.... we need some musical clips in there.
Maybe a force effect of "Ba weep... granna-weep.. ninny bon" or "we talk TV! You talk some TV?"

Don't forget there was a lightsaber duel between Optimus and Megatron in this movie! It was the GREATEST! If you haven't seen this movie you should go out and get the VHS tape today!

Not enough sounds for an accurate font.
There was an ignition and 3 swings, and a clash if you could the impact on Optimus' side
Background music is on the whole time, so it would be hard to isolate the sounds too.

A transformers font would be neat. The font maker would need to get creative to make up for the lack of sounds though.

Yeah someone would definitely have to extrapolate for the actual buzzing and electric saber sounds...
but there is lot's of content throughout the whole movie for 'sound greeblies' or whatever we are calling
extra sounds built into sound fonts these days such as Madcow's Heirloom and Hero force effect sounds (music) and Juansith's
and others' feature-packed sound fonts.

IMO this Transformers sound font would be heavy on the extra sounds and lighter on actual unique hums and clashes. Those base sounds could perhaps be yanked from another font and then altered to become more like the sounds in the movie (which sound a lot like a regular saber to me... but that fight is so short that it is hard to make out).
Actually the movie saber sounds in Transformers sound a bit more electrical or raw buzz-saw like to me.. idk it's hard to say

One of my favorite soundtracks of all time.

The dialogue from transformers would make awesome blaster/boot/ misc sound effects. probably some of the coolest voices ever.

id be happy with something that pays homeage to the movie it doesnt necesarily need to be a dedicated saber style font just something that works would be good
i think it would work better on ignighter tbh as you can have the sounds/quotes play over the soundtrack

Im really liking this sound !   As to the topic... I agree that if there were enough sounds that it would be cool !

i guess i'll have a try... though this would be more sounding like the 2000's transformers! this will probably be a soundfont without any quotes in the main package... but if i find something accurate i might incluude an addition package, so one can choose if the font is installed with or without quotes... but i cant promise anything, yet... 

as for the amount of sounds for ignition, swings, clashes, blasters, lockup and so on, i have a nice package which will work great with some modifications... the sample above was done in a few minutes...

I would love a Transformers soundfont as I grew up with the cartoon/movie/toys in the 80's!  I think the ignition sound would be perfect if it was the sound made when they "transformed"...wa wa wa wah!

One voice quote I remember from the movie - I think it would be a cool boot sound for this font:

and they play it twice, once when he says it and once for the Decepticons when the bird/cassette tape/spy robot LaserBeak plays it back for them.

i just found that on the internet... but i think it's complete... for me it seems like the noise at the end of the sample disturbes it...
