Having used that and a cf, the only time the pc isn't sensitive enough is during long spins obi-ani style.  If you do really long, hard spins though, you should be using a stunt.

Interesting...I personally haven't had any swing sensitivity issues and I do long spins and flourishes all the time.

Sarge, another great vid. Again, this build is very impressive all around!

well, if the spins are just right, the ball bearings stay "bottomed out", so they don't release and make contact again during the really long swings.

Congrats Sgt on an awesome build and great review with videos.  All around win.  Nice job with that control box.  Must have been a pain to wire those switches in there.  Tight spot.

Thanks Luke.

It certainly was a tight fit. hence why i didnt actually put much of it in the videos. you couldnt see anything other than my hands and i was whining the whole time :p
Im not sure if the normal method is to wire them, then glue them in or the way i did it, epoxy first.

a learning experience none the less. :)

I have never done it but I would guess wire them first next time.  Seems a lot easier.  I can't imagine wiring it in the little space.  I'm amazed you did it.  I'm not sure I would have.  :D

They can be a pain, but they are worth every bit of work in the end.  Unless you clse it up and the wires come off.

YET... i soldered them back on without removing the soundboard from the hilt. BOOOYAH.. stronger than ever :)

well there you go.

Ive just completed my first CF install. (almost)

everything is wired up except for the led which i am waiting on its arrival.

new features include an upgrade to a 2w speaker (OMG this thing is super loud)
flash on clash
and due to the abundance of room in this hilt i have opted for jst connectors for almost everything which allows for the hilt to be entirely dissassembled without any need for desoldering parts.

once again i used a saberworks ribbed chassis system to make a sled for the electronics.
its works incredibly well.

pics and vid will be coming soon once i recieve my led and get it fired up.

I will begin configuring the sd card today
