Is that really a new design or just a 'Kit Fisto' clan saber with gold finish on the grip?

I thought only members of the Council were allowed gold accents on their sabers?

And his robes had a [printed? embroidered?] pattern too, like Jocasta Nu, but different.

All in all though I'm pleased to see the first few episodes are focusing more on characters other than Ani and Obi, particularly that they seem to put more emphasis this season on the clones in the Clone Wars.

I just looked up the Jedi master that was in "Supply Lines" - Master Ima-Gun Di.  This goes along with the whole Savage Oppress and General Grievous, They're really not trying anymore for good names are they?  Check out the Wookiee page for him, or not if you haven't seen the episode yet.  Especially read the 'Behind the scenes' section...ugh.

I'm not going to comment too badly on what worked and what didn't for this series, but I will state one thing. If this guy is Darth Maul's brother, then I'm Luke's brother too.

Sith take their apprentices to be trained when they are early too. Maul may have had a biological brother, but having 2 be fully trained Sith is to co-incidental for me. Maul was trained by Sideous and I thought he was a great Sith warrior. This guy looks like he could eat Maul for breakfast, but I doubt he could best him.

When dealing with the force, it's experience and quick thinking that always wins, not being big or look like you're on steroids.

I am happy to see them kill of some good guys like Master Di and his troops. I think the Clone Wars have been all to one sided in favor of the Republic. They seem to win most of their battles or succeed in some way, like getting the supplies to Ryloth. If this is a war and the bad guys come out the victor in the end then I believe Clone Wars need to have more episodes in which the bad guys win. So far we've only really seen Cad Bane be successful in his schemes. If Ventress and Grevious always lose and run away, then why are they such a threat?

I love this show though, just some constructive criticism.

I have been finding the eps a little heavy in the diplomacy department lately.

Well the Clone Wars have been 'dragging on' awhile now and when neither side achieves quick military Victory in war the importance of securing alliances through diplomacy to support a possible war-of-attrition becomes more important to both sides. Plus it gives Lucasfilm an excuse to show fans more of previously unknown or little seen strange alien planets and peoples and characters [new action figures to sell coming to a Toysaurus near you? LOL].

same here cordaroyfog but those episodes kind of show what goes on behind the scenes while the battles are going on or what leads to a battle. for the most part i enjoyed them and also what onli said

*spoiler warning*

Nice to see Quinlan Vos finally and the personality differences between him and Obi was very well handled I thought.

YES!!! Loved it.
*spoiler*

The only thing for me though, WAAAYYY to much force jumping. I mean I know it's an ability, and made sense, but seriously they started looking like rabbits or kangaroos after a while. But, I am so glad to finally see Quinlan Vos. I hope to see more of him, heck I'd love it if they did a series on him.
