I require a more suitable host body

At long last, I've finished making cosmetic modifications to my collection of Ultrasabers, so I thought I'd share.
Let's start with the Arbiter, as it was my first Ultrasaber.

I didn't do much in the way of modifications for this saber, just some O-rings in the grooves and some tape at the bottom for grip. I also added a little chrome and carbon fiber tape close to the emitter and around the button.

Now on to my Light Yari, which formerly belonged to Jin Ke. I made a few changes, again using chrome and carbon fiber tape to make it look a little nicer. This saber is somewhat different from the standard Ultrasabers Yari, as the hilt is all one piece, making it a lot more durable (many people have complained that the two-piece standard yari broke quite easily). I'm also using a longer blade, so the overall length of this is about 6 feet.

Next up, the light kamas. These took some getting used to, but now I'm finding them pretty fun. I'm glad I got these before it was too late.

Next is my Dominix. I drilled a few holes close to the emitter and again used chrome and carbon fiber tape to make it look a little more real.

Next is my Omen. Same drill with the tape, and I also used a few O-rings.

Next is my green apprentice. I tried to go for a "desert warrior" kind of look, which is why I got this saber with the copper finish. I bound the grip in leather and got some beaded string to add to the end. I think it gets the point across.

Last but not least, my blue Apprentice. the design is similar to that of the Dominix, presumably if I ever wanted to duel with both of them, one long blade, one short blade.

So, there you have it. My Ultrasabers collection. Needless to say, I'm more than pleased with the Ultrasabers quality, and they can expect to have me as a customer for the foreseeable future.

wicked  mods dude! Shocked
a mod should add this thread to the custom E series index since these mods are pretty sweet! http://www.fx-sabers.com/forum/index.php?topic=15790.0

Those are some cool additions you gave to those hilts! I never thought a dominix could look that good.

Great job customizing! Tape and o-rings can do so much for an Ultrasaber.

Normally I'm not one for the chrome tape usage, but you've applied it with good moderation on most of your sabers. I also really like your "desert" apprentice. I'm looking to make a similar wrap with nylon ito on my Elder Staff.

Very nice collection...  I'm glad to see the Yari made it to you safely, and that you are putting it to good use.   Grin
