So it started here:
http://www.fx-sabers.com/forum/index.php?topic=20709.0

Was wanting to take my lightsabers with me to events...but wanted to troubleshoot a way to make it work...

I figured it out.

First the blades...

Forgot I had a telescoping tube from drafting classes back in high school YEARS ago... removeable blades... check!!!

Next...the hilts...

Now I've always wanted to carry them in a cool way....

I present to you my lightsaber briefcase...

Specs:
Aluminum two tone body... Styrofoam lined with removeable squares for whatever you need to fit in it...in my case, my saber hilts... strap.... lock and key...and the finishing touch...  a Brass Christian Jedi Symbol done by our very own HonRev!!!

Featured hilts: Jedi Yar-Nala's Steampunk Legacy saber by Amptrooper, Obi-Wan Kenobi Larbel non-El conversion by Gil Gamesh, and my Obi-Wan Kenobi Parks MKIII conversion by LDM

It even has specific places for Amptrooper's awesome Lightsaber Plugs

Close up on HonRev's Christian Jedi Symbol...

Thanks for looking and God Bless ;D

Sweet! I have one of those aluminum cases (Home Depot, baby!) and all I need to do is get new foam...

I usually use jo staff cases to transport the sabers and blades...but for long trips the briefcase rocks. And I really like the Jedi symbol!

Thanks Caine....

Yeah... HonRev did a great job with it... the contrast of the brass stands out great on the black...

Was contemplating something like that... but in the end... liked having the two things separate...

Liked hearing how they presented Ewan McGregor the TPM saber choices to him in a briefcase... more dramatic for the reveal ;)

Peace be upon all,

Thanks for the inspiring pictures Jedi Yar Nala! Saber transport has always been an issue. These images definitely make me want to do something above my current blankets-n-rubber bands arrangement!  :-[

An elegant weapon surely deserves an elegant transport!

The Christian Jedi symbol is subtle but excellent touch. Nice system indeed  :)

  • I ain't seen it all, but I've sure seen alot of it
Whoa! I gotta get me one of those! :D :D

When you got it, did it already have those shapes in the foam, or did you have to buy some?

Very nice, JYN!

Looks very professional, and safe and secure for those sabers. Hon-Rev, loving the work as always! ;D

Thanks guys :)

nope... I didn't have to get the foam separately... all included... they're like removeable squares that allow YOU to shape it to whatever you need (they used it for laptops in their pictures). perfect for most lightsabers...I'm guessing even curved ones... :)

Beautiful JYN! Its a James Jedi Bond lightsaber case for sure!! Just needs a light like in pulp fiction so people on the other side only see the glow on your stunned face! :o

Nice ones, Yar Nala. :) Do you happen to have a case for sabers with unremovable blades?
