I picked up the Clone War movie on blu-ray at Best Buy. I already had it on DVD but BB had it for 14.99. The DVD looks really good but the blu-ray version is vastly superior. The picture detail on the animated characters is amazing. For example, you can see depth and definition on the different shades and layers of paint texture on Jabba's face. It reminds me of a Van Gogh painting. Very cool. And the Dolby True-HD soundtrack sounds awesome. So glad I bought it!

Realizing how good this is, I can't wait to pick up the first season of Clone Wars the first season on blu-ray. Should be a treat for the eyes and ears!

Dang it! I broke down and bought the dvd for 15.00 bucks just 3 weeks ago. I would have much rather purchased the blue ray, anime of any kinds looks awesome on the format.

I opted for the DVD a couple months back because I didn't think there'd be too much of a difference. Guess I was wrong... $:-\$

I bought the collector tin version of the DVD when it came out and took it back 3 times because the transfer to DVD was so bad.... It was blurry on half the screen during the opening... All three were like that so I gave up... When I bought my Blue-Ray player this was one of the first discs I got ... It's lightyears on the regular version... I too can't wait for the season 1 BB box....
