Hey guy's just have to much free time at the moment thanks to the recession cutting my hours down, and a nice pay cut to

and wandering if there is any star wars book's anyone could recomend, i have read karen Traviss & James Luceno. Any suggestions would be great was thinkng of reading Darth Maul saboteur has anyone else read it ?

Some good Star Wars series are the New Jedi Order, the Dark Nest Trilogy, and Legacy of the Force. They take place about 25 years after ROTJ. I have read part of Legacy of the Force (I can never seem to find Inferno in the bookstore) , all three of the Dark Nest Trilogy, and am just starting the New Jedi Order.

First book in New Jedi Order: Vector Prime

First book in Dark Nest Trilogy: The Joiner King

First book in Legacy of the Force: Betrayal

to truely stary getting into the novels you need to start at the beginning. start with the Thrawn trilogy!! they are really good and are at little after the movies (in the star wars timeline).

I also agree with Ben, but if you start there you will miss a lot of back story, your best bet is to start with the Thrawn trilogy. trust me, I am obsest (SP) with the novels.

I never really got into the books until the last 2 years. Since then I have read the New Jedi Order books, Thrawn trilogy (along with all of the Timothy Zahn books), Coruscant Nights trilogy, All of the Republic Commando books, Legacy of the Force, Dark Nest and lately Fate of the Jedi.

I would start with the Thrawn trilogy, then try to hit books in as much chronological order as possible. You'll find out (if you haven't already) that all of them are linked together by subtle references. So you can really start anywhere and have fun reading the books that are mentioned in the book you are reading.

My personal favs are Republic Commando, Legacy of the Force and Fate of the Jedi. Enjoy!!!!!
