Hi Night - We have sent a reply to your direct e-mail, but for general reference, we do not work with leather or pleather for custom orders, but appreciate people asking.  Ideally for this Starkiller project, you will need to work closely with a leather working specialist, which we are not.

Thanks again!   :)

Hello to TwinRoses,

I'm a huge fan of what you all do, in fact I have asked about a Shado Vao themed robe set.

Hi TallyHawk - Thank you for your email which we received a couple of days ago. I have not had a chance yet to work up the price estimate for you and to verify if I have adequate quantities of the materials needed for the project or if I'll need to order more (that will affect the turnaround time).  I hope to be able to respond properly after 5pm tomorrow once shipping has occurred for the day.  We're in the last stages of creating items due for pre-Christmas delivery, and it's not leaving a lot of time for emailing.  There are several emails I do still need to respond to, and I'm trying to do so in the order received. Thank you for your patience!

Hello everybody -

We have had some questions about international shipping costs.  As many of you know, the US postal service has unfortunately increased their rates for both US and international shipping again in January, and we have had to alter our shipping rates accordingly.

Shipping to Canada does NOT cost what our shopping cart will calculate.  It is a complex problem, but the shopping cart has to be set up to calculate shipping for the farthest, most expensive destination possible for certain price ranges of items.  Luckily, shipping costs to Canada tend to be slightly over half of what the cart will calculate.  With every international shipment, after the item(s) have shipped, we scan the Postal Receipt and Customs Form and email them to the customer.  This way the customer has a record of how much the postal fees were, and a Customs number that can be used to track the parcel to a certain degree on the USPS.com website.  At that time, we also appropriately refund over-calculated shipping and minimal handling costs.

If you are in Canada, you can contact us directly with what items you wish to order, and we are happy to calculate correct shipping costs and send you an invoice for your items so that you don't have to go through the shopping cart.

When the shipping rates increased, we were dismayed to learn that there were recent changes that appear to specifically target the United Kingdom.  Not only are shipping costs to the United Kingdom the most expensive of any European country, but we are no longer able to adequately insure any purchase to the UK.  We are currently exploring other options for shipping to the UK as we find these recent changes to be unacceptable.  Right now it seems that FedEx might be the best option for trackability, insurability and they may have competitive rates.  We are exploring this option and will keep you updated as we get more information.

International shipping to other countries still appears to be fully insurable.

I live in Canada and I'm currently on your page to order some stuff...  Thanks for the info!  I am REALLY happy to know it's not that expensive!

Hi Blackluc-
Here is a link to our international shipping page - it contains information about the different shipping rates the automatic shopping cart will calculate, links to your country's customs website for what to expect, a currency converter link, etc.

Please let us know by PM or to info@twinrosesdesigns.com (email is the best option) if you have any questions about the clothing or measurements. Thanks! :)

Hello!  I hope everyone is enjoying the start of the summer and is looking forward to Celebration in August.

We've had a bit of a rough couple of months due to illness and an accident, but everyone is recovering well.  However, over the past month we have also been having difficulty with email - mainly receiving emails but also in sending.  For a couple of weeks we were not even aware that this was happening, until some people phoned to follow up on emails that we had never received for some reason.  :(

f you or someone you know has emailed us and has not heard a response back in 2-3 days, please have them PM us or try emailing again.  I apologize for this - we are working with our web host to try and determine why this has been happening and to resolve the issue.

Thank you!

Hope everyone is staying cool in the heat wave!  I just finished a custom ordered one-of-a-kind outfit based on Miraluka sage reference images kindly provided by the customer, and transformed into a Dark Side character.  It's viewable here right under the heading: http://twinrosesdesigns.com/Star%20Wars%20Inspired%20Clothing%20Portfolio.html#Clothing_for_the_Dark_Side

I had a great time creating this work of art, and thought some of you might like to see it!

Just a quick note for those going to Celebration 6 who want a new costume.  Unfortunately at this point we are fully booked for custom orders through the end of August.  Depending on the complexity of the items desired, it may take between 6-10 weeks to create a new custom order as of right this second.  If you want a regular tunic set (light side or dark side) or generic robes in wool or cotton twill, we have those in stock ready to ship and can still create custom obis to your belly button waist measurement in time for C6.  Please see our Men's Clothing for Sale page for tunic sets and components and our Coats and Robes for Sale page for currently available robe options.  Thank you!

Paging Aaron Adams - sorry to use your full name, but I apparently have no other way to reach you.  You spoke with me about a possible custom costume, and have now written essentially the same message three times via my email at info@twinrosesdesigns.com (twice: 9/19/2012 and 9/22/2012) and to sales@twinrosesdesigns.com today and I responded to each (9/19, 9/23 and this morning).  Your email seems to not be receiving my replies - either PM me through here or check your email filter settings.  Due to the Halloween rush I am not able to take on (or discuss in detail) new custom orders until after November 1st and I have a wait list for after that time.

If you know Aaron, please pass this information on to him.  Thank you and MTFBWY!

Andrea,

I received the custom Sith costume you made for me and I am speechless.  Excellent quality and wearing it really makes me feel like a disciple of the Dark Side.  ;D  The color contrasting on the black robe, tunic and the pants I used against the grey undertunic and obi work perfectly together.  Totally the look I was going for, which was something in the neighborhood of the Sith Lord costume from The Force Unleashed.

To all out there looking to get a Jedi/Sith costume done I really recommend TwinRoses Designs!

-Sid
