Just got my outfit from Andrea today.  It is AMAZING.  Full review coming soon in my costume thread.

Thanks again A&G.  You guys did an awesome job.  ;D

You are very welcome!  It was a pleasure to create it for you, and to stretch the creative muscles for multiple event stylistic use options.  :)

This was important enough to post over here as well as in Luke's costume thread.  :)

A couple of people have mentioned how fast we created items.  Yes, we can sometimes do that, BUT we can NOT always work miracles of instant clothing.  PLEASE don't wait until the last minute to place an order if you can possibly help it.  There are only so many hours in a day, and I'm only one person.  Sometimes if I'm working on a theater, opera or film production I have to stop accepting any custom orders until the show is finished, or, in the case of Halloween, once I have booked solid with custom orders I have to stop accepting new ones until November 1st.  Right now, we are still accepting cloak, robe and tunic set orders for Halloween delivery, but more complex items that need heavy amounts of embroidery or detailing will have to wait until November 1st.

LAST CALL for Halloween 2009!!
« Reply #17 on: October 22, 2009, 03:43:25 PM »
Hello Everybody -

We hope that everyone's plans for this Halloween are going well!

As you know, Halloween is next weekend.  We are not accepting new customized orders until after November 2nd, but if you need a regular robe, or basic tunic set, we still have them in stock and available for immediate shipment on our website.  We will continue to create obis to your waist measurement specifications for orders received before 5:00 p.m. EST Wednesday, October 28.  After 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, we will NOT be able to both create and ship a custom sized obi in time for Saturday parties.  The deadline for overnight shipping via FedEx for in-stock ready-to-ship items is 3:00 p.m. EST Thursday, October 29.  After that time, it will be too late for delivery by this Halloween.

Happy Halloween!

I just commissioned them to do my full tunic/obi/tabard and robe.  Looking forward to seeing the final product.  I'll post a review once I get it, I'm currently having the  "I just got something I've wanted for a long time but still have to wait for it" feeling.

Just wanted to say that Andrea does amazing work. I just received my full Sith costume today, all black robe, tunic, obi, pants, the works and it is awesome. The material used is quality stuff, simply put, and everything fits wonderfully. Very pleased with it. I'll have to put up some pics and perhaps a review elsewhere  ;)

Thank you guys for posting feedback and reviews!  It's been a pleasure working with you as always - and we look forward to more Star Wars (and other) costuming collaborations in the future.   :D

We just passed our ten year 'birthday' mark of being in business creating costumes as Twin Roses Designs.  (I designed and made costumes for several years before starting the web business).  The past ten years has been a lot of fun and we are looking forward to what the next ten years brings!

It's Halloween time again.  :o  We had to stop accepting new custom orders requiring Halloween delivery over the weekend.  If you've already been talking with us over the past week about a unique, not-normally-stocked-on- our-website item, we penciled you into the schedule tentatively.  You know who you are!  Don't panic!

If anyone is looking for something we NORMALLY stock on our website - i.e. generic robes, generic tunic sets, cloaks, etc., we are continuing to keep those items in stock and to make the custom obi and tabards for pre-Halloween delivery.  We'll post again if we have to stop accepting those kinds of custom orders also - this may happen sooner than those dates listed below.

At the moment:
The deadline for International customers needing something in-stock for Halloween delivery is September 30th.  This will hopefully allow enough time for items to go through Customs.
The deadline for Priority Mail type orders within the USA for in-stock items is October 22nd.
The deadline for overnight delivery of in-stock items (to include time to custom create an obi to your measurements) is October 27th.

Have a fantastic Halloween and MTFBWY!

I absolutely love your work! Have been watching you for years but I have never before decided to break down and make a costume until now (Recently ordered a Custom saber from vaders vault), so now I need a costume to go with it.

I am REALLY learning towards a Starkiller Adventure Robe type costume but with different colors..was wondering how much something like this might cost.  No rush for this halloween.  I can find some pics if you aren't familiar...I may have already emailed you on this..I've lost track, if so I apologize :)  (James Pyle / Newyears1978 would have been in the email)

Here is a link to a fanart of the costume: http://galenmarekfans.deviantart.com/gallery/?set=24827954&offset=48#/d26ygr0

I think it's a fairly simple..it's sorta a Cloak (Hooded cloak with the arm slits rather than full robe) with some other pieces underneath.. anyways let me know what you think.. =)

Here is the best picture I can find: http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/starwars/images/0/0d/Jediadventurerobe.jpg

Hi!  We can only make the non-stretchy cloth parts of this outfit - please have a look at our Custom Orders page http://twinrosesdesigns.com/Custom%20Order.html for the list of questions at the top of the page we will need to have answered to best provide a price estimate, then email us at info@ twinrosesdesigns.com (no spaces) with that information. It may be after October 28th that we respond as we are in the last of the Halloween panic.  Thank you!

New Stuff on the Star Wars Inspired Page
« Reply #27 on: May 29, 2011, 03:47:55 PM »
Hi Everybody -

We hope that everyone is having a good Memorial Day weekend, and you are enjoying the Star Wars Weekends and the start of the summer convention season!

We've been creating new and different character costumes and have pictures on our Star Wars Inspired page, including some video game characters and Senator Chuchi Soi from the Clone Wars series.  For some of these projects, we explored new techniques and materials, which was a lot of fun as well as very educational.

http://twinrosesdesigns.com/Star%20Wars%20Inspired%20Clothing%20Portfolio.html

We have "behind the scenes" photos and explanations of some of the new outfits on our Facebook fan page (there really was not a good way of including the making-of information on our Star Wars page).

Good to hear from you Andrea.  Thanks for stopping by.

I attended a star wars day at our local library yesterday. Your Jedi garb you made me stole the show. I upstaged the TK's.  Felt a little bad about that. I had a line of about 50 kids long for an hour and a half that wanted pics taken. Overall i think 75 of so kids went through the line.

Your Jedi costume is second to none. Everyone was amazed at just how screen accurate it all was.

Thanks again for such an awesome costume.

For any members on the fence about which designer to go with, I can tell you from experience that you can't go wrong with TwinRoses costumes.
