Thank you very much for the welcome.
I have found some materials that seem to be useful to realize crystal chassis.
the attached images are of bad quality, I took them with the cellular one because I have given my camera to a friend.

The first image is the design that I have thought for the chassis, it is based on the chassis that I have seen in the forum.
Obviously the principal idea is based of the chassis realized by the Master Yoda.

Basing on the chassis that I want to construct, I have obtained the following materials:

Pipes of bronze of 4mm of external diameter, I could not find bigger not of another material.
the following image indicates the cut, extracted of the rough edge and polished them with sandpaper 3M and metal polisher.

I could find a material so-called polycarbonate, this material is the acrylic one, this one material is easy to work.

With a sandpaper 3M a very good finish is obtained on his surface. In the following image I present it.

I accept proposals and new ideas for those who want to help me in this.

Thank you very much.
Up to the next one.
Ga!
PD1: again ..... excuse my so bad English  ::)
PD2:Thank Allaerra Secura for his information about the photobucket. :D

auto motivate is what you need to work on a saber ;-)
(I couldn't resist, don't feel bad, I'm just tickling)
automotive paint = car paint (just to be clear)

you need a tap to make a thread inside the pipe, then use some threaded rod (or cut screw) to make the assembly I suppose (that's how I did it on my first personnal chassis)
